Food Hygiene (Awareness) Course Aims:

  • To understand how food poisoning occurs
  • To understand how to prevent food poisoning
  • To be aware of what causes contamination of food and equipment
  • To understand how cross contamination occurs
  • To recognise the importance of effective cleaning
  • To recognise the severity of spreading bacteria
  • To be aware of acceptable personal hygiene standards
  • To understand legislations enforced by local government (i.e. HACCP)
  • To safeguard your business against poor inspection ratings and criminal prosecution
  • To know how to apply safe food practice
